Autumnal Fashion for Men ’19

Autumn is here and with the chilly evenings drawing in, it’s time to start thinking about getting our warmer clothes out for the autumn season. If you’re worried that your wardrobe from last year won’t cut the mustard this year, here’s a few fashion tips to keep you up to date with all the new trends this Autumn.

Return of the Denim

shutterstock_1022031901Denim is a great material for all seasons, and it comes in many different forms, from men’s jeans and suits, to shorts and jackets. Denim has been around for decades and is unlikely to ever go out of fashion. For instance, why not grab yourself a denim jacket no matter if it’s blue or black, and you can pretty much guarantee it will go with whatever else you throw on. You can even accessorise your look by adding a scarf, not only will it give your look a lift you’ll also have the added benefit of keeping you warm. With denim becoming ever more popular, you’ll be able to find pretty much any item of clothing in denim, in a whole array of colours, rather than just the traditional blue denim.

Winter Coats

Much like denim jackets, puffer coats are in demand in the colder months. They are light and waterproof so ideal with rainy, cold weather. A hoodie and puffer jacket is a good combination, there is usually a lot of room to add a couple more layers so no need to worry whether you’ll be too cold. If you’re going somewhere smart and are in need of a new coat, knee length coats are a must this season. They can dress up any outfit, wear it with jeans and some boots and you’re ready to go! Footwear

What you wear on your feet can make or break your outfit. In the winter months, I would opt for something bulkier like lace boots. Timberlands are a great choice however, they are more on the expensive side, but many other shops offer a replica of the product for lower prices. Another option is trainers, as they go with pretty much everything. Black, white, red and dark blue are all neutral colors that will look good with anything. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a new pair of kicks, check out adidas or Nike.

Oversized shirts are in right now, either a basic camel or dark blue or if you’re feeling adventurous go for a checked flannel. Wear the shirt open with a plain white t-shirt and if the day is slightly colder a denim jacket too. You will have everyone wishing they dressed like you.

Don’t be afraid to Accessorise!

This season it’s all about accessorising. You need something to keep you warm but look good at the same time. Hats are a great addition to any outfit and beanies or caps go with mostly any style. Also, wearing a necklace or bracelet can pull an outfit together very subtly.
